Ann Dorgan, Founder & CEO: From Fortune 100 to Female Empowerment

My father earned his Harvard MBA, but I chose a different path—funding my own education while absorbing his most valuable lessons:

• Build a trusted network and leverage it for life

• Master both offensive and defensive strategies in business  

• Always ask "Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How?" to gather the information needed for success

Following this wisdom, I built and led a global business serving Fortune 100 companies across six continents—Canada, Argentina, Bermuda, England, Switzerland, Ireland, and the UAE. I represented firms in Malaysia and China on national government projects and served as an advisor to the Governor of Washington State for six years.

Before founding PinkGenius, I spent five years supporting startups and fast-growing companies preparing for acquisition or IPO, providing growth strategy to over 62 startups within three corporate innovation labs. I've seen what works, what fails, and what separates successful entrepreneurs from dreamers.

PinkGenius represents my evolution from success to significance. For Vicky and me, this isn't just a business—it's our mission to support the next generation of female leaders who refuse to accept inequality as inevitable.

I recently completed my tenure as Chief People Officer where I scaled a company from 2 employees to over 170 while implementing comprehensive people strategies and serving as strategic partner through multiple successful funding rounds totaling millions in investment.

With dual citizenship in South Africa and the United States, I bring a global perspective informed by diverse markets and cultures. Previously, I co-founded two specialized training firms in South Africa focused on integrating advanced communication techniques with group psychology, and supported high-growth entrepreneurs at Endeavor South Africa.

My career progression from Executive Assistant to C-level executive proves that with the right skills, mindset, and support, ambitious women can achieve anything. I've mastered the art of creating scalable systems, fostering inclusive organizational cultures that drive results, and developing high-performing teams that exceed every expectation.

My approach combines practical business expertise with deep insights into human behavior, informed by my Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Linguistics. At PinkGenius, I ensure our community members don't just learn business skills—they develop the emotional intelligence and leadership capabilities that turn good entrepreneurs into great ones.
